        Smoking Risks

        Smoking is a risk factor for biochemical recurrence of prostate cancer following radical prostatectomy. Study findings suggest that current and former smokers have a significant 1.8 and 1.6 times higher risk of biochemical recurrence than non-smokers.


        Last year, Erleada (apalutamide) was the first treatment approved in the US for the treatment non-metastatic, castration-resistant form of prostate cancer.
